We're metamorphing!

Believe it or not, our clinic has been around since the 1970's! We have looked after thousands of South Australia families during that time.

Dr. Peter Joe Verco was the first specialist Paediatric dentist in South Australia (only the second in the whole country!). With a passion for providing paediatric dental care, Dr. Verco would frequently travel to remote regions (from Morphett Vale to Whyalla and Port Lincoln), to ensure that equality of accessibility was made available to the regional populations.

Since Dr. Verco's retirement, we strive to continue with the same passion for providing dental care to South Australian children.

Dr. Marko Milosevic was selected by Dr. Verco to take the torch and continue the journey. This journey has led us to a new vision, where every dental visit is just part of the big story of growing up, and every child is the star in their own show.

Willy Wonka had a chocolate factory? Well, Big Mouth has his Shiny Brights!

We hope you'll join us on our new journey, just bring your imagination, and get ready for lots of stories, silly jokes, and plenty of bad puns along the way!

Dr. Marko Milosevic

GDD (Griffith), DClinDent - Paed (Adelaide)
Former Secretary ANZSPD - SA/NT

A big kid who's always playing cheeky pranks on the staff, Dr. Marko never got the memo that he had to grow up! Always up to date with the latest tricks (from Pokemon and Dragonball Z, to Fortnite and Call of Duty) his latest obsession is Bluey, which he self admittedly watches more than his daughter does!

Fondly remembering taking his own teeth out as a child, Dr. Marko never had much love for dental visits. An extremely nervous patient himself, he adopted the approach of "if you can't beat them, join them!". After completing his undergraduate studies, he shared time between private practise in South Brisbane, and working for Queensland Health in their School Dental Programme at Kingston Primary School.

Coming to their senses, Dr. Marko and his wife realised South Australia is much nicer than Queensland, and they began their migration south in late 2015.

Following completion of his clinical doctorate, and prior to committing to private practise, Dr. Marko has worked as a Senior Registrar in the Dental Department at the Women's and Children's Hospital. Additionally, he held a teaching role as a specialist clinical tutor at the University of Adelaide, guiding young Dentists-to-be in the ways of Paediatric Dentistry.

Dr. Marko has been asked to present on a variety of topics to the South Australian Dental Service, Australian Society of Orthodontics SA branch and the Australia and New Zealand Society of Paediatric Dentistry. His modern take on behavioural guidance and the evolution of patient management has been featured in the national periodical of the ANZSPD, Synopsis.

In his spare time, he's a tinkerer, and loves to try new hobbies. Parenting has been his most rewarding hobby yet, and on weekends he is inseparable from his 3 year old daughter, Maggie, 1 year old brother George, and wife, Grace.

"We can't wait for your to join our world of cheeky chompers, toothfairy mirrors, cloud toothpaste, fuzzy tickle brushes, fairy ice-cream, tickle wands, bumpy cleaners, tooth shampoo, tooth farts, space flights, strawberry forests, diving for tooth treasure,  and everything in between!"
